Mutant Sanctuary

Mutants.
The name for the people among us with 'special' abilities. The Government believe that the 'mutants' are too dangerous to be allowed to walk the streets like normal people, so the Goverment have out lawed Mutants and are hunting them down. When they are caught they are sent to special prisons designed to block the abilities. Due to the resistance the mutants are giving them, The Government have set up a special task force called the Mutant Response Division, The MRD. The MRD are specialiesed in the hunting and capture of mutants. And They have been most successful in capturing hundred of the world's population of mutants.
But there is hope for the mutants. A Group has formed which helps mutants, giving them sanctuary and safety from the MRD. This group is known as Mutant Sanctuary.

The MRD are trying hard to take down the Mutant Sanctuary. The Mutant Sanctuary have put together a task force of its own to combat the MRD. This mutant task force is know as The Mutant Elites.
Mutant; Jonathon West, aka PowerHouse, has been selected to be the Leader of The Mutant Elites.

This is a modern/super hero RP, based on X-men.
The Role play is set in Los Angeles

He can also store absorbed energy within his personal reserves, whereupon the energy increases his strength and recuperative abilities

Character bio:
When jonathon was young he and his family were victems of a nuclear accident. All his family died, but Jonathon survived by absorbing the nuclear energy. That was when he discovered his Power. He has a Friendly and caring personnality but is know to be head strong and rash. When he uses his powers his eyes turn red.

Character bio: Spectre is a mystery to those around him, as he rarely shares anything about himself to others unless the situation calls for it. Despite this he is a very loyal member of the team and is easy to get along with.

Super Power: she can almost see into the future but it has its limitations, as she hasnt practised enough with it she can only see snippits of whats about to happen, also she can only see the bad events that are to happen. she also has a lesser power to pick very small objects up with her mind, but she cannot do more than that... no matter how hard she tries.
Other Skills: she is good with her blades and hand to hand.
Weapons (if used):her katana, throwing knives and her dagger for backup. <see in pick>
Character bio: Fate has never had a name... if she doed she keeps it to herself. She has a history that intertwines with many others and as such she can never leave well enough alone, she always helped those out who needed it. she mostly keeps to herself about her past.... and future.

Character bio:Given his name after he came back from the dead. Fenix had lost both his memory and some of his mind at the cost of his powers.He recently moved into the sanctuary after loosing and regrowing his arm in puplic.

Bio: He spent most of his childhood in an orphanage,due to being abandoned at birth for being a mutant.After he left he lived off the streets with the help of a few friends he made.When he heard of the mutant sanctuary,he and his friends (they were mutants too) went there.Pyro values his friends.He's usually in a good mood,easy to get along with,and has a bad habit of talking to himself when nobody's around
