SW: Black Dawn Knight

Jex grunted softly under his breath as he concertrated on the coordinates. he finally up the last one in
"Ah ha, there. i'm do-"
he started but was cut off as the Jaden Shadow was hit by another shot of blaster fire and the ship jerked forward, causing jex to whack his head off the console
"Yowch"
he murmured then pulled a lever. the ship jumped into hyperspace.

Tanis let out a sigh."Finally. I have a new found repect for the people that can handle this type of weapon. It's a lot harder than it looks." He stood up." So who were those people that attacked us? They didn't seem to be pirates. And from what i sensed it would appear that a Sith lord was near. Now why would they attack us like that?"

Jex shrugged then turned around to face Tanis
"Hell if i know. The ship was definatly that of a Sith Lord."
he murmured then chewed on the tip his thumb for a second and stared at nothing in paticular.
"Errr. They most definitely had something to do with Jaden's disappearance"

Tanis thought for a moment."Interesting. Though it raises even more questions. Why would he attack Jaden? Is there something about him that would earn the interest of a sith?" He considered using mind control on Jex but decided against it. He figured that he'd find out eventually so why even bother.

"Lad, i'm not an expert on the way a Sith works. i'm a cheif engineer for MandalMotors. Jadens a Jedi, Maybe the Sith Lord was bored and felt like hunting down a lone jedi? i thought they like that."
Jex said shrugging again. He sighed then turned back to the controls
"Anyway, my astromech driod dedected The Je'karta, jaden's ship's hyperdrive trail. It headed to Obroa-skai. which is where we are going now"

"A jedi huh? Interesting. I might have to speak with him if he's still alive. If he's a true jedi then i will make him an offer he can't refuse. I might even extend the offer to you. Though if this Sith lord is hunting him down then that may be a problem...... Unless...."

"Hmmm i'm sure Jaden will be intrested in the offer."
Jex said then then glanced at a timer. two minutes till thy reached Obroa-Skai
"Though, for me i need to get back to my job. i should be working right now"
he said then chuckled. The ship exited Hyperspace and Obroa-Skai came into view

Kellen gazed off into the sky and sensed the Jaden Shadow enter the system then turned back to the Je'Karta and slid the final piece of hull back into place. His work finished he slid down it's side then walked over to the tent, after going inside Kellen saw that Jaden was still asleep, with a loud smirk on his face he dragged his right foot back slightly then launched it quickly forward sending a pillow streaking into Jaden's face waking him up.

" Hey sleepy head wake up.......A) I just finished fixing the Je'Karta, so she's good to go and B) We got company coming so make yourself pretty. "

With that said Kellen walked out of the tent and back to gazing at the sky.

Jaden groaned then his eyes flicked open and he quickly jumped to his feet.
"Company, hmm?"
he murmured then glanced up into the sky and closed his eyes. his using the force, he projected his mind out to the ship, entering orbit. A grin spread across his face as he felt the familar mind of Kyle Jex
"Ha, i thought he would come after me."
he said then walked to the Je'karta. he leaned in and hit a button, activating a beacon.
"No need to worry, Kellen, its a old friend of mine"
he said. then glanced at the Je'karta
"Nice work, by the way"

On The Jaden Shadow a alarm goes off and Jex looked at the console
"Ah. sensors have targeted The Je'karta's homing beacon"
he said happily then began to pilot the ship down into the atmosphere, towards Kellen's camp

Tanis sighed and mumbled."It's about time. I'm not exactly crazy about space flight. Hopefully Jaden isn't too loyal to the order. If so...... Then i may be headed for trouble." He scratched the back of his head and sighed."Oh well. No avoiding it now."

Kellen used his left hand to shade his eyes as he watched the Shadow make it's way down to his Camp for a landing.

" heh.....good to know, although that doesn't necessarily mean that their a friend to me if you catch my drift, oh and I'd appreciate it if you'd turn off that beacon now that your friend has our location. "

"Don't worry, Jex is very friendly to most."
Jaden said, still grinning slightly then turned off the beacon. he watched the Shadow as it landed, a dozen or so meters away from the camp. the boarding ramp was lowered and Jex walked off. he grinned at jaden for a second
"Good to see your still alive lad. gave me quiet a scare you did"
Jex said then glanced at kellen then bowed slightly
"I see you've helped my friend. Thank you. he hasn't been much trouble, has he?"

Kellen gave a slight dip of his chin in response.

" No, despite his crashing in my proverbial lap......I managed to get what I came for. "

Tanis walked down the ramp and looked around. he couldn't say that he was fond of the location. He studied the two men that had walked up. He could sense that both of them were force users. "Two force users huh? Interesting. Perhaps both of them would be interested in my offer."

Jex nodded and smiled at Kellen
"Okay. Names Kyle Jex by the way"
Jaden glanced up at the man that had walked down from the ramp of the shadow. he cocked his head to the side for a moment then grinned
"Hey, i know you, your Tanis, the one who murdered that bastard Carsin! about time someone did it"
Jaden said then glanced at Jex
"Ferrying around Fugitives, these days Jex?"
He asked. Jex shrugged
"just lending a helping hand"

" Kellen Thastus. "

Kellen glanced at the new arrival and flashed a smile then chucked his thumb in the direction of Jaden.

" Yeah......He wants to buy you a drink on that one. "

Tanis grinned."I only did what was necessary. I have no intention of standing by while the jedi order is run by corrupt politicians. I will not stop until the jedi are once again seen as defenders of peace. And i will succeed by any means necessary."

Jaden nodded
"Well said, Tanis. about time someone stood up to them"
Jex walked up to jaden
"i need to talk to you about something"
jex said and jaden nodded
"please excuse us"
Jaden said then the two walked off a bit, talking in Mando'a

Kellen eyed Tanis up and down then nodded with certaincy.

" So......Jedi, I sense that you've been trained in The Medjai Art's as well? "

Tanis looked over at Kellen and smiled."That i have. My master was one before he joined the order. But once they discovered this they removed his ability to use the force and left him on some remote planet on the outer-rim. There he was killed by a sith after the Medjai refused to allow him to stay with them." He chuckled."He was expelled from the order for being a Medjai. And he was cast out from the Medjai for joining the order."

Jaden and Jex walked back to the group, jaden had a thoughtful look.
Jex glanced at Tanis
"So you still need to go somewhere? or are you fine here?"
Jex said then glanced at his watch
"because i need to get back to work... i'm... five days and three hours late"

Kellen suddenly tensed and locked eyes with Tanis.

" Tell me, was......your Masters name Ando Tyrana? "

Tanis smiled sadly."Yes he was. Why? Did you know him something?"

Kellen nodded slowly, his expression one was of sadness then his face hardened.

" Yes.....I did, you have my condolences, my lightsaber shall aid you in your mission.....only first I need to travel to Tatooine and handle some things there. "

Jex glanced at his watch again then sighed
"I really need to get going. Tanis, if you still need transport, i'm sure Jaden will be happy to ablige"
he said then headed back to the Shadow. he paused on the ramp and glanced at them
"and all of you keep safe"
he said before disappearing into the Jaden Shadow.
