Jaden shrugged then smirked slightly
"To be honest, i prefer it that way. Too bad the sith don't share your views"
he said then chuckled.

Tanis got himself some food and sat down. He pulled out a datapad and read it while eating."It would appear that the IGA has yet to put forth much effort in the investigation of the murder of Seamon Havara. They believe it to be nothing more than the work of an angry guard. The fools. If they even bothered to reveiw the security tapes they would know what really happened. He must not have been as important as i previously thought."

Jex glanced at Tanis and chuckled
"Seems you wasted your time on a lowly target then, lad"
he said then took a sip of his Tihaar
"Oh well, i bet his death inconvenienced somepeople, somewhere"

Kirna watched Tanis for awhile " Hm," Kirna said, with a sigh.

Tanis chuckled. "Not really. The man was next in line to join the council. And by eliminating him i've paved the way for a true jedi to take a seat in the council. At least. That's what i hope. But knowing the order another politician will buy his way in." He snickered." But hopefully his replacement will have a name that people can read with a straight face."

Kirna rolled her eyes " Clueless," Kirna said to herself.

Jex nodded then took another sip of his Tihaar, enjoying the warmth that spread through his body as he drank the strong liqour.
"Aaaaah"
he murmured happily.
"thats the st-"
he started but was interupted by a Beeping coming from the Ship's announcment system.
'Nearing destination, exiting hyperspace in T minus 5 mintues"
came the electrical voice. Jex glanced at Tanis and Kirna
"Well thats my cue to go, you to help yourselves to the food"
he said then walked out of the room, heading back to the cockpit

Tanis watched as Jex left the room then turned to Kirna."You have something you wish to say Kirna? Please speak up. Are you doubting your choice already?"

She shook her head " No, Tanis I do not I was just thinking about something and might be about you and....," Kirna told him, looking down at her hands.

Tanis raised his eyebrow."Is it me that your doubting? I gave you chances to walk away. And i still will. If you wish to leave then leave. But remember. I will not stop until the order is in ruins. And if you defend them. Then you too will be my enemy."

Kirna sighed " No, no Tanis it's not that just for get about you won't understand," Kirna told Tanis, with a frown.

Jex sat down in his pilot seat and began pressing a couple buttons, flicked a switch and grabbed the control lever. A slight shudder ran through the ship as it exited hyperspace. He grinned to himself then glanced around through the viewport. A few kilometres away he noted debris of a star craft.
"T-5, scan the debris for wreckage of The Je'karta"
he said to the astromech at a droid station in the cockpit. The droid made an answering whirring sound then started the scan. Jex sighed to himself then began to steer The Jaden Shadow closer to the debris.
For some reason he felt on edge and tense... but he just dismissed it as worrying about Jaden...

A giant warship drifted slowly in space, approximately 200 kilometres away from The Jaden Shadow. It was a Gladiator-class Star Destroyer.The dark-side flowed strongly through the ship, bound into the very structure and mixed in the atmosphere.
It infected the crew, poisoning their minds, corrupting their hearts and twisting their souls. It infested through the barracks, increasing the rowdiness and fighting spirit of the troopers, imbued itself in their weapons and armour. It affected the droids and systems as well, getting into their circuits and A.I
This ship was evil. It trailed the evil energy, the dark side of the force like a cloak. Smothering what it passed with violence, pain, suffering and malevolence.
This ship was the personal flag ship of a mysterious and powerful Sith Lord, Evil as the energy he surrounded his ship with.
It also happened to be the same warship that had attacked Jaden while he was on his simple escort mission.

An Officer, working at a scanner array on the Bridge, paused from his work then got up from his seat. His movements were simple, almost as if this man was a droid. He walked towards the Commander, still with simple, mechanical movements. His face was blank. It almost looked as if the man was in a deep sleep or trance.
"Sir, Reports show a ship excited hyperspace close to the remains."
The Officer's voice was like his movement, it was devoid of emotion. This man was a husk of what was once a human. Once, long ago before the Dark Energies on board had broken his will and enslaved him as a mindless slave.
The Commander looked at the Office and nodded. He had the same blank look.
This man had no Soul. Nor did anyone else aboard the ship.
Apart from the sith lord and his apprentice. And even that could be debatable.
"I will inform his lord"
The commander said then pressed a button on his control panel. On the screen an image of a pale skinned humanoid appeared on the screen. His eyes were hidden behind a blindfold and he was wearing long robes, coloured like a starless patch of space.
The Sith Lord.
"Why do you disturb me?"
Came the voice, a quiet almost hiss.
"The scanners located a ship, near to the destroyed freighter. It seemed to be looking for something"
The Commander reported
"Destroy it"
The Sith Lord said simply.
"It will be done, my Lord"
The Commander replied with a simple salute. He turned off the video feed and glanced around the Bridge.
"Send out the Fighters. Obliterate the Spaceship"
he commanded. A couple minutes later a squadron of TIE Interceptors launched then began to speed towards The Jaden Shadow

Tanis sighed."Very well then. But keep in mind. You may leave whenever you wish after all i'm not a...." He quickly got to his feet. He sensed a great evil nearby. He ran out of the room and headed to the cockpit. He stood behind Jex."Be careful. There's something evil out there. It feels like a Sith lord."

" I'm not leaving your side like or not Tanis," Kirna hissed.

Jex swore, heavily and in many different languages. Once his outbreak was over he sighed
"Thats all we need. Damnit, i'll eat my helmet if they arn't the ones responcable for Jaden's disappearance"
There was a loud exploding sound and The Jaden Shadow rocked slightly. Jex started swearing again then pulled the ship lever, manouvering the ship to avoid more fighter fire. he glanced quickly out the large transparisteel canopy as a TIE intercepter speed past.
"Tanis, Kirna do either of you know how to operate a couple of AG-1G quad laser cannons with stutter-fire modifcations and a large blaster cannon?"
he asked then gestured at the Gunner control station next to him
"I need you to hold them off while T-5 can scan the area for any traces of The Je'Karta. it will take 5 minutes tops"

Tanis looked over at the controls."Very well then." He walked over to them and with the use of Psychometry he was able to figure out the controls. He fired at the TIE intercepters in short controlled burst."Tell that droid to hurry up! I'm not exactly proficient with this type of weaponry."

Kirna looked puzzled " What now?," Kirna asked.

Jex continued to steer the ship in evasive maneuvers.
"t-5 Hurry up, damnit"
he yelled as a shot from a TIE left scorch marks on the transparisteel canopy. During the battle the large Warship had been getting closer and closer.
T-5 whirred and information began to appear on jex's controll screen. he studied it for a second the nodded slightly, changing direction away from the debris
"Okay, got the data, get ready for hyper jump"
he said then checked the data quickly then started to put in the coordinates for a hyperspacejump to Obroa-skai.
Another blast of TIE fire hit the ship and it jerked to the side
"TAAAANNNNIIIIIIISSSSSS Hold them off!"

Tanis groaned as he kept firing."I'm trying. There's too many of them. I can't take them all by myself!"He turned and glared at Kirna."Feel free to jump in and help us out! I highly doubt this is the only turret controls. Oh look! There's one right over there!" He went back to firing at the TIE intercepters.

Kirna rolled her eyes " Sure sure all right I'll help," Kirna told Tanis, turning on her lightsaber.

Jex contined to quickly type in coordinates
"Aye, there is another turret control on the other side of the room"
he said then quickly glanced around
"Errr... Kirna, what do you plan to do with your lightsaber?"
he asked, raising an eyebrow.

Tanis looked back at Kirna with a dumbfounded look on his face."Kirna...." He pointed over to chair."Go sit down over there please. You know...... For your own safety. That way you don't get hurt or anything." He turned his attention back to shooting down the TIE intercepters.

" No, you think I can't do this don't you?," Kirna asked, with a growl..

Tanis looked back at Kirna."Not with a lighsaber you can't. Unless you plan on leaving the ship. Then maybe you could take out on or two before your body floats away."He turned to Jex." Are you done yet?!" He kept shooting.

" Whatever I'll stay to make you happy," Kirna told Tanis, with a growl .
